Scott Rubin, CFA
Scott oversees the Investment Research Group at PEI. He conducts extensive research regarding manager selection/evaluation and portfolio construction for new and existing clients. Scott also focuses on hedge funds, target date funds, asset allocation strategies and liability driven investment strategies. He regularly interacts with clients, investment management firms and senior members of the firm. Scott contributes to the development of PEI research papers, in addition to providing commentary for the PEI quarterly newsletter, The Prudent Press.
Scott is a key member of the PEI Investment Committee, and is also a member of the firm’s Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) evaluation and oversight team, assisting clients with the selection of a provider as well as the continuing evaluation and oversight of the investment manager.
Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Scott was a Senior Stockbroker at Scottrade and a Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors.
Scott earned a BS in Finance from The College of New Jersey and an MBA from Rutgers University, where he received the Business School Finance Advisory Board Award in honor of outstanding academic achievement. Scott holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute (CFAI) and New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA).
