Daniel Urban, QPFC, TGPC
Dan works closely with defined contribution plan sponsors as well as stewards of endowment and foundation portfolios, developing and implementing customized solutions to meet their programs’ long-term goals and objectives. He is experienced in investment policy design, investment performance monitoring and evaluation, investment manager selection/due diligence, fee benchmarking due diligence, and vendor selection.
Dan offers his clients valued industry perspective, experience, and expertise to thoughtfully guide their decision-making, while ensuring both a prudent fiduciary process and pursuit of their program’s goals/measures of success always remain front of mind. He is also a regular contributor to commentary for PEI’s quarterly newsletter, The Prudent Press, as well as company white papers.
Prior to joining PEI, Dan worked for First Investors Corporation, offering retirement and insurance solutions to individual investors and small businesses. He also previously worked at A.G. Edwards & Sons where he performed investment research and assisted with sales and marketing initiatives.
Dan is a graduate of Ursinus College with a BA in Business and Economics. He is also an active member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and holds the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) and Tax-Exempt & Governmental Plan Consultant (TGPC) Designations through ASPPA.
