Daniel Bach, EA, ASA, MAAA, QPA, QKC, QKA
With a background of over 25 years of advising on employee-sponsored retirement plans, Dan is a Senior Fiduciary Consultant at PEI, with a focus on Defined Benefit Plans. His experience includes six years as manager of the DB administration group at Wausau Insurance (business owned by Nationwide). He works closely with the client relationship managers at PEI and with others across the firm to develop and implement effective solutions for client sponsors, and has experience working with many different types of qualified and non-qualified defined benefit pension plans.
Prior to joining PEI, Dan was a Senior Director in the Client Management Group at Willis Towers Watson after serving as a Director and Senior Consultant in the Retirement practice. His tenure there was sixteen years in total.
Dan is an Enrolled Actuary, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Dan is also a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and holds the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC) and the Qualified Pension Administrator (QKA) designations from ASPPA.
Dan has a Master of Science degree majoring in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in accounting and mathematics from St. Norbert College.
