PEI Welcomes Two New Team Members

Warren, New Jersey (January 19, 2017)—Portfolio Evaluations, Inc. (PEI), one of the country’s leading institutional investment consulting firms, announces the addition of Gary Pallatta and Michael Kopec to the team.

Gary joins PEI as a senior consultant within the Provider Solutions Group, where he will conduct fee benchmarking studies and recordkeeping vendor searches, while Michael will take on a leadership role as director of the firm’s Fiduciary Consulting Group.

Gary Pallatta has over 20 years’ experience in employee benefits, with a diverse background that includes both corporate benefits administration and benefits consulting. Prior to joining PEI, he managed the defined contribution and defined benefit plans of United Water, which included overseeing the audit processes and vendor relationships.

Michael Kopec is a financial services professional with more than 15 years of client management experience. He joins the firm from TIAA-CREF, where he served as a director within their Advisory Services Group, working with both plan sponsors and individual participants. This included addressing common plan sponsor challenges, as well as those faced by participants related to retirement savings.
