Portfolio Evaluations, Inc. (PEI) is pleased to announce the addition of Senior Fiduciary Consultant Caroline Macomber, CRPS®, AIF® to the team. Caroline brings over 17 years of experience in the retirement plans industry, working with 401(k), 403(b), 457, profit sharing, combo and cash balance plans.
“We are pleased to have Caroline join the team,” says Partner Richard Torbinski. “Her extensive experience in consulting to a diverse group of retirement plan sponsors will be a big asset to our firm and clients.”
Caroline joins PEI after spending 11 years working as a member of the field sales and service team for Nationwide’s corporate sector retirement plans division. Most recently, she served as a senior relationship manager, consulting with the largest plans in the New England territory. She acted as a liaison to sponsors, third party administrators and financial advisors, creating and implementing strategic roadmaps for their plans, while encouraging optimization of operational efficiencies and enhancements. Caroline also spent time there as a field service representative, where she focused on participant education, enrollment and retirement readiness outcomes.
Prior to Nationwide, Caroline spent time at both Commonwealth Financial and Northwestern Mutual. She graduated cum laude from the Honors program at Saint Michael’s College and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation from The Center for Fiduciary Studies and the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation from The College for Financial Planning.
“After almost two decades of working in the retirement industry, I am thrilled to be joining the PEI team,” says Caroline. “Being able to advise plan fiduciaries on creating successful retirement readiness outcomes for their participants is a true passion of mine. PEI is a proven leader, and I feel very fortunate to be joining their team.”
