Warren, New Jersey, July 2, 2015 – Portfolio Evaluations, Inc. (PEI), one of the country’s leading institutional investment consulting firms, is pleased to announce Attila Toth, Partner and Co-Founder, has been named in the inaugural 2015 Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Plan Advisors list.
Attila was selected from roughly 650 elite plan advisors who met the Financial Times (FT) qualifications. The list was published in a special section of the FT newspaper’s U.S. edition (as well as on FT.com). The selection process set a minimum criteria for applicants: financial advisors must manage at least $25 million in DC plans assets and DC plans must represent at least 20% of their total AUM. FT used an investment communications data partner, to find and contact potential candidates. FT also contacted financial advisors whose names they obtained directly from the largest U.S. broker-dealers.
Financial advisors were graded on eight broad factors and a numeric score was calculated for each advisor. Areas of consideration included: AUM in DC plans; degree of specialization in DC plan advising; growth in DC plan AUM; growth in number of DC plans advised; average participation rate in advised DC plans; years of experience as a DC plan advisor; industry certifications (CFP, AIF, etc.); and compliance record.
The Financial Times, one of the world’s leading business news organizations, is recognized internationally for its authority, integrity and accuracy. Providing essential news, comment, data and analysis for the global business community, the FT has a combined paid print and digital circulation of 720,000. FT’s digital subscriptions surpassed print circulation in 2012 and now account for 70% total circulation. Mobile is an increasingly important channel for the FT, driving almost half of total traffic. FT education products now serve two thirds of the world’s top 50 business schools.
